My visually seductive paintings feature the female form delineated in an array of artistic approaches ranging from subtle to vivacious. The distinguishing feature of my work is the tactile nature of my approach. Paint is smeared, sliced and otherwise worked into the canvas, a process allowing imagery to flow out of the my consciousness, giving each work a distinct personality. I have drawn since childhood and as other children stop at some point in their development, I never did. So my drawing skills seem to have developed naturally, allowing me to freely use a number of different styles and approaches using oils, acrylics, pastels and red chalks.
